Actress Mizuki Yamamoto attended the Sangi Teeth are Life Award 2025 - Apagard 40th Anniversary Brand Ambassador Inauguration Ceremony held in Tokyo on July 31st, where she received the award. Yamamoto, who announced the birth of her first child in May 2023, spoke about balancing child-rearing and her hobbies.
When asked about the secret to her radiant smile, Yamamoto replied, "Enjoying time for hobbies." She said, "I have many hobbies, and I like drawing, watching anime, and growing plants, so I spend time doing those things after my children go to bed. I try to spend as much time as possible having fun."
It seems that balancing child-rearing and hobbies is difficult, as she smiled and said, "Sometimes I get really sleepy and end up falling asleep with my child, but I try to wake up again and spend time on my hobbies."
Actors Azuma Mikihisa and Saki Takaoka also attended the awards as presenters.
Sangi, which develops the highly functional whitening toothpaste series "Apagard," has appointed Yamamoto as an ambassador to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the brand. The key visual for the 40th anniversary campaign has also been released, in which Yamamoto plays two roles: a woman from 1985 and a woman from 2025.
