Actor Minami Tanaka appeared at the Panasonic nanocare 20th Anniversary Event, held in Tokyo on September 1st, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Panasonic's hair dryer, "Nanocare." It's been 10 years since she went freelance from her job as a TBS announcer, and when asked what she would like to challenge herself with in the future, she said, "I've only been acting for five or six years, so I would like to take acting more seriously. Rather than taking on new challenges, I would like to continue to pursue what I'm doing now."
"Nanocare" is a hair dryer equipped with Panasonic's proprietary nanoe ion technology, which was developed with the idea of "caring for hair beautifully while drying," and the first model was released in 2005. In 2019, it was equipped with highly penetrating nanoe technology, which increased moisture generation by 18 times compared to previous models, and by March 2025, cumulative domestic sales had exceeded 18 million units. This June marked the 20th anniversary of the product.
