It has been announced that the film "Golden" (directed by Sakashita Yuichiro, to be released on November 21st), starring Takanori Iwata of the dance and vocal group " J SOUL BROTHERS III ," will also be entered in the competition section of the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival. A video of Iwata's congratulatory comments, which will be his first time participating in the Tokyo International Film Festival, has also been released.

The film is set in a public junior high school. Dozens of students dye their hair blonde in a "blonde demonstration" to protest against school rules, leaving their homeroom teacher, Ichikawa (Iwata), at his mercy. This is Iwata's first time playing a teacher. Also appearing in the film are Tamaki Shiratori, Mugi Kadowaki, Maho Yamada, Kentaro Tamura, and Chika Uchida.
