Issei Takahashi challenges himself with wire action in a diving scene! "Maruha Nichiro"'s last corporate commercial before changing its name, "The Small Fish Returns" and the making of it

Maruha Nichiro's final corporate commercial before the company name change, "The Small Fish Returns the Favor," starring actor Issei Takahashi, was released on October 1st. It will be broadcast from the same day.

This commercial series will begin airing in May 2024, and has attracted attention for the action scenes performed by Takahashi, the protagonist. Following on from the previous series, the series tells the story of an ordinary man who becomes aware of the existence of Maruha Nichiro after being "repaid" by a sea creature he saved.

In the fourth installment, "The Little Fish Repay the Favor," the protagonist attends a kindergarten play at his daughter's school and is thanked by some little fish dressed as kindergarten children. This leads to him learning that Maruha Nichiro is actually working to restore the eelgrass beds where the little fish live, and that the company name will be changed to Umios.
