The Japan premiere of the film " Kowloon Generic Romance " (directed by Chihiro Ikeda, to be released on August 29th), starring actors Riho Yoshioka and Koshi Mizukami , was held in Tokyo on July 23rd, with appearances by Yoshioka and Mizukami, as well as Ryo Ryusei, Shuntaro Yanagi, Minami Umezawa of Nogizaka46, Figaro Tseng, and Kotone Hanase.

This work is based on the manga of the same name by Mayuzuki Jun, known for works such as "Love is Like After the Rain." Reiko Kujirai (Yoshioka), who works at a real estate agency in the nostalgic city of Kowloon, has a crush on her senior colleague, Kudo Hatsu (Mizukami). When she comes across a photo, she discovers that Kudo once had a fiance who looks just like her. As the past, present, and future intertwine, love will unravel the secrets of lost memories, the true identity of her other self, and the huge secret hidden in the city of Kowloon.
