It has been announced that a TV anime adaptation of "Fate/strange Fake ," a light novel from the popular "Fate" series, which has been adapted into games and anime, will begin airing on January 3, 2026. It has also been revealed that the opening theme song, "PROVANT," will be performed by "SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]: Jean-Ken Johnny ＆ TAKUMA," a group consisting of Hiroyuki Sawano, Jean-Ken Johnny of MAN WITH A MISSION, and TAKUMA of 10-FEET. This was announced at the online event "Aniplex Online Fest 2025," held on September 13.
The work is a light novel by Narita Ryogo, known for "Baccano!" and "Durarara!!," and is published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA). The story is set after the end of the Fifth Holy Grail War in Japan, when signs of a new Holy Grail are observed in a snowy field in the western United States. The prologue to the TV anime series, "Fate/Strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn-," aired on TOKYO MX and other channels in July 2023.
