[Video] Subaru Kimura, the voice actor for Giant, struggles with punching scenes in the movie "Black Showman" - "I've punched a lot of my classmates in the film"

Voice actor Subaru Kimura , known for his role as Gian, also known as Takeshi Goda, in the popular anime series " Doraemon ," appeared at the stage greetings event for the completion of the film "Black Showman" (directed by Ryo Tanaka, to be released on September 12th) held at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on August 26th. Kimura, who plays Kashiwagi Kodai, a classmate of Kamio Mayo, played by Arimura Kasumi, in the film, revealed his struggles, saying, "There's a scene where I have to punch someone. That punch is surprisingly difficult."

Kimura said, "I normally work as a voice actor, and have had countless experiences of hitting people in anime. I've hit my classmates a lot," and reflected on filming, saying, "It's difficult to actually hit someone, so I had to think about how to make it look like I was hitting someone. It didn't work out well, so we had to do several retakes, but I think I was able to hit them well in the end."
