The premiere screening of the film "Futsu no Kodomo" (directed by Mipo O, to be released on September 5th) was held in Tokyo on August 6th, with Shimada Tetsuta, Ruri, Ajimoto Yodai, Aoi Yu, Shunsuke Kazama, Kumi Takiuchi , and director O appearing.
The film is a new movie with a completely original story written by director Mipo O O, who also directed the award-winning " The Light Shines Only There " (2014), and written by Ryo Takada.
Ueda Yuji, a 10-year-old fourth-grader, is a completely ordinary boy who loves living things. He falls in love with Miyake Kokoa, an environmentally conscious girl. In order to get closer to her, he decides to join her in the environmental activities that Kokoa is passionate about. Then, Hashimoto Haruto, a bit of a problem child in his class, joins them, and the activities the three start take an unexpected turn... and so the story unfolds.
The main character, Yuji, will be played by Shimada Tetsuta, Kokoa by Ruri, who is trying her hand at full-scale acting for the first time, and Haruto by Ajimoto Yodai.
