Musician SUGIZO will appear on the music program "Classic TV," airing on NHK E-TV on June 4th at 9 PM. SUGIZO, who has loved Hungarian composer Bartók since elementary school, will engage in a passionate discussion filled with love and respect for Bartók, surprising the program's MC, pianist Shinya Kiyozuka, with his extensive knowledge.
The subtitle for this episode is "A Deep Talk with SUGIZO! Bartók." The program will feature Bartók, who created classical music that's as cool as rock music.
Airi Suzuki, who co-hosts the program with Kiyozuka, was captivated by Bartók's unique and stimulating sound. There was even a moment when SUGIZO praised Suzuki's spontaneous remark, saying she was "quite talented."
SUGIZO commented, "When I was 10 years old, I encountered Bartók and was incredibly moved, and it profoundly shook my life. Nearly half a century later, I am overwhelmed with emotion and deeply grateful to be able to appear in a Bartók special.
