The 45th episode of the NHK morning drama series " Kaze,Kaoru " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Ai Mikami and Juri Kosaka, aired on May 29th, and viewers reacted to the exchange between Naomi (Asadora ) and Kanta (Kitsusuke Fujiwara).
At the end of episode 44 (aired on May 28th), Naomi receives a letter from Kanta. Naomi had previously asked Kanta to investigate a prostitute named "Yunagi," who she believed to be her mother.
In episode 45, Naomi summons Kanta to Yoshie's (Taizo Harada) church. Kanta tells Naomi, "Your mother, Yunagi, was apparently a fairly popular prostitute at a shop called Kin'eiro in Shinagawa until about 25 years ago," and adds, "She seems to have run away," and "It seems she was with a man, but no one is sure..."
Naomi shows Kanta a wooden tag that was inside the amulet and says "Urasaki Hachiman," and asks, "Can you find out where this shrine is?" but Kanta replies, "I have no obligation to work for you any further." When Naomi reveals, "I was found wearing this amulet around my neck, abandoned in front of a church in Yokohama when I was a baby," Kanta asks, "Why now?"
Naomi replied, "Since I started my internship at the hospital, I've met all sorts of people... Newborn babies, people who are dying, good people and bad people... Then I started to want to see what kind of person they were. The face of the person who brought me into this world... I don't even know what I want to do after seeing it."
Kanta then showed interest, saying, "That...sounds interesting," and emphasized, "Do you understand? You've got a huge hold over me. It's me, you know?" When Naomi retorted, "He's a bad guy, but he doesn't seem like he'll become a major villain," Kanta snapped, "And yet you've been fooled by me. You'll regret it, don't blame me."
