At the request of their mother (Mako Ishino), Luna and Ryoko try to decipher the passcode on Luna's father Eisuke's (Ryo Ishibashi) computer. The only clues they have are that it is "a first edition of 'I Am a Cat'", "a puzzle game Luna and her father played together as children", and "a sequence of numbers". In order to get more detailed clues, they visit places associated with Natsume Soseki, old bookstores, and experts in Natsume Soseki research, but they have not yet been able to decipher it.
Meanwhile, Ryoko learns from Bubly (Reo Sanada), a bartender at Luna's bar, that he wants to see his childhood friend and fellow townsman, Mami (Yuri Tsunematsu), in her wedding dress, even if only for a moment. Moreover, Mami wants to keep her true identity a secret. On the day of the wedding, the two sneak into the hotel. However, along with the expensive jewelry, Mami's cherished tiara, a memento from her mother, is stolen from the hotel, causing chaos. Luna, who had come to the hotel out of concern for Bubly, is called upon to help find the culprit.
Luna, as usual, tries to solve the case while eating sweets, and silently gestures to Ryoko, requesting some sweets. Ryoko frantically searches her bag but can't find any, and silently shakes her head to indicate that she doesn't have any. As the two of them silently show signs of disappointment, Tamura (Shuntaro Yanagi), a detective and Luna's high school classmate who happened to be there, pulls some sweets from his pocket and offers them to them. Seeing this, Luna and Ryoko silently bow their heads in gratitude, and Luna begins to solve the case.
On social media, comments such as "Their gestures are so cute" and "Luna and Ryoko's air conversation is too cute" were posted in response to Luna and Ryoko's silent exchange. There were also comments praising Tamura, such as "Their silent exchange is too cute and Tamura made a great play lol", "They're both so cute and Tamura did a great job", and "Good job Tamura!"
