Actress Momoko Fukuchi stars in the NHK nighttime drama "Radio Star" (NHK General, Monday-Thursday 10:45 PM). In the final episode (episode 32) on May 21st, Kanade (Fukuchi) talks to Mana Ono (Manami Ono) about her aspirations to become a radio star...
"Radio Star" is a nonstop entertainment drama set in Noto, depicting how an ordinary citizen becomes a star. The theme song is "A Boat Full of Happiness," written and composed by Yumi Matsutoya and sung by MISIA.
In the final episode, Kanade makes a decision after talking with Matsumoto (Masahiro Kohmoto). Rikuto (Shoma Kai) also makes a decision and leaves Noto. Mana Ono visits Kanade and asks her, "What did being a radio star mean to you?" Kanade then begins to talk about her feelings towards being a radio star.
Sakura Ono (Takako Tokiwa) had entrusted Kanade with a certain feeling she had for Noto. And Radio Star continued broadcasting under a new system.
