It has been announced that Haruka Tomatsu , Kana Hanazawa as Alice Kuonji, and Yusuke Kobayashi Kana Hanazawa as Soujurou Shizuki in the animated film "Mahoutsukai no Yoru" (Witch on the Holy Night), based on the visual novel game by TYPE-MOON, the game brand known for the "Fate" series. Character visuals for Aoko Aozaki, Alice Kuonji, and Soujurou Shizuki have also been released.
The anime will be produced by ufotable, the studio behind "Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel]" and " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." It is scheduled for release in 2026.
"Mahoutsukai no Yoru" (Witch on the Holy Night) is a game released on April 12, 2012. The scenario was written by Kinoko Nasu, known for works such as "Kara no Kyoukai" (The Garden of Sinners) and the "Fate" series, and the graphics were handled by Hirokazu Koyama. The game originates from an unpublished novel that Nasu wrote before the release of "Tsukihime," and is set in the late 1980s. Shizuki Soujurou, a high school student who has come to the city from the countryside, meets Aozaki Aoko, an apprentice witch, and Kuonji Arisu, a witch from England, and the three end up living together in an old Western-style mansion.
