A plastic model kit of the Geara Doga, which appears in Kazuhisa Kondo's manga "New MS Chronicles: Mobile Suit Gundam Short Stories," titled "VAKIT Mobile Suit Gundam New MS Chronicles Geara Doga (Standard Type)" (MegaHouse), will be released. It will cost 6600 yen.
This mobile suit belongs to the Neo Zeon Army's 66th Special MS Platoon, led by Captain Frederick F. Brown, and differs in head shape from the commander's unit. In addition to the commander's unit, the platoon is assigned five standard units, each of which has been refitted for ground combat. After descending to Earth, it was painted in a sand-type camouflage scheme.
The plastic model kit comes partially painted, allowing for further customization. It also includes water-slide decals and a Zimmerit roller to recreate the Zimmerit coating. A commander unit with a different head and weapons is also available.
Pre-orders are being accepted at Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." Shipping is scheduled for October.
