The sixth episode of the drama series "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on May 12th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 5.5% for households and 3.0% for individuals.
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the newfound free time she has at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months. The cast includes Kenichi Matsuyama, First Summer Uika, Motoki Nakazawa, Soma Santoki, and Shiro Sano.
Episode 6 was titled "Is Squid Delicious?".
When Minato and Oedo (Matsuyama) visit Mori's (Soma Santoki) family home together, Cesar (Jua) and others tease them, saying "the two of you seem to be getting along well," which makes Minato a little self-conscious about Oedo. Meanwhile, the class enters its second half. As Minato struggles to make squid sushi, he suddenly receives news that his son Nagisa (Motoki Nakazawa), who was in training, has fallen ill and been taken to the hospital.
Nagisa stays at her parents' home to recuperate for a while, but rejects Minato's attempts to take care of her and becomes withdrawn. Furthermore, Nagisa says something shocking to Minato... and the story unfolds from there.
