The "RE/100 1/100 Den'an Zon" Gunpla (Bandai Spirits), based on the Den'an Zon from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam F91," will be released. It will cost 3300 yen.
The Denan Zon, the main mass-produced close-combat mobile suit of the Crossbone Vanguard, has been recreated in the "RE/100" series with its distinctive proportions and details, incorporating newly sculpted parts. The heavy upper body is reproduced with spiked shoulder armor designed for close-quarters combat and a backpack with a large, protruding structure. The shoulder armor has pivot joints, and by folding it inward, the range of motion of the arms is expanded. The head is interchangeable, and the details of the sensor part can be reproduced.
By partially removing the four shield effects, a wide range of posing is possible, including a firing stance with the shields partially deployed. The Shot Lancer's handle extends and retracts, and the tip can be removed to create a lance-launching state. The Beam Saber Grip can be mounted on the underside of the rear skirt.
The combination of axial and ball joints allows for highly flexible posing. The neck can be flipped up, and the waist can swing sideways or bend forward. The backpack also features axial articulation, and the bases of the sensors and thrusters are movable. The waist and hip joints also have a wide range of motion, allowing for a significant arch in the back. The impressive horizontal flight pose with the Shot Lancer, as seen in the film, can be recreated.
Pre-orders will be accepted from noon on May 12th at "Premium Bandai," the shopping site of the Bandai Namco Group. Shipping is scheduled for August.
