The synopsis for episode 5 (airing May 10th) of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, has been released.
Set against the backdrop of wheelchair rugby, a parasport, the story follows Wutetsu Fumito, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he searches for answers to difficult problems facing his underdog team. Through genuine emotional and physical challenges, he learns the importance of friendship and family in this story of bonds and redemption. This is a completely original story, with the script written by Tomoki Kanazawa, who has worked on Netflix dramas such as "Sanctuary" and the TV series "Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle?".

The Bulls were buzzing with excitement as they prepared for the Memorial Cup. Keijiro (played by Kyohei Honda) had shown remarkable improvement, and even their ace, Ryo (played by Yuki Yamada), was beginning to acknowledge his talent. Of course, Gotetsu (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi) was preoccupied with devising a strategy to defeat Snake.
When Sora (Yuta Tamamori) learns from his mother, Hiroe (Tomoko Yamaguchi), that Wutie is his father, he goes to meet Wutie and blurts out something he doesn't mean.
Meanwhile, Hitoka (Kasumi Arimura) had been unable to show up for Bulls practice. This was because she had found out that Keijiro was the other party in the accident her father, Hideo (So Yamanaka), had been involved in 10 years ago. Ryo was concerned about Hitoka, who was troubled by her worries.
Gathering her courage, Hitoka confesses everything to Keijiro. Upon hearing this, Keijiro... A heavy mood hangs over the team as the day of the Memorial Cup match arrives.
