The second episode of the drama series "Takusari Brothers" (TBS, Fridays at 10pm), starring actor Masaki Okada and co-starring Shota Sometani, aired on April 24th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 5.2% for households and 3.1% for individuals.
The drama follows the "Tagusari Brothers," older brother Makoto Tagusari (played by Okada), a detective, and younger brother Minoru Tagusari (played by Someya), a medical examiner, as they investigate a series of heinous crimes that occur daily and pursue the true culprit in the murder of their parents, a case that expired just two days before the statute of limitations was abolished.
In episode 2, thanks to information from Haruko (Haruka Igawa), it is revealed that Nogami's (Koen Kondo) motive for the hit-and-run was revenge, but Makoto (Okada) lets him get away right in front of them. The violent crimes unit pursues him, but despite being on the run, Nogami makes a point of not disguising himself, stops at a coffee shop, and then buys a suit, exhibiting inexplicable behavior. What is Nogami's true purpose for being on the run? Meanwhile, information finally comes in about the man the brothers have been chasing for 30 years... and the story unfolds from there.
