The first episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on April 17th, and a popular comedian made a casual appearance, which became a hot topic.
The drama follows the "Tagusari Brothers," older brother Makoto Tagusari (played by Okada), a detective, and younger brother Minoru Tagusari (played by Someya), a medical examiner, as they investigate a series of heinous crimes that occur daily and pursue the true culprit in the murder of their parents, a case that expired just two days before the statute of limitations was abolished.
In the first episode, the team receives a call from a woman working at a travel agency and goes to an apartment building. According to the woman, when she returned home, she found her live-in boyfriend dead in the locked room with multiple injuries—an incident that could be interpreted as either an accident or a crime.
Later, when it was decided to perform an autopsy on the body, comedian JP appeared as forensic pathologist Kensuke Kagura. Kagura is an associate professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine at Matsuizumi Medical University and Minoru's senior from his university days. The scene showed him calmly going about his work and discussing possible causes of death with Minoru and others.
