The 15th episode of the NHK Taiga drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）" (NHK General, Sundays at 8pm, etc.), starring actor Taiga Nakano, titled "The Great Battle of Anegawa," aired on April 19th, and So Kaku made his first appearance as Todo Takatora.
"BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）" is the 65th Taiga drama. With Toyotomi Hidenaga (Koichiro) as the protagonist, it depicts the miraculous feat of unifying Japan together with his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) through their strong bond, a success story of dreams and hopes.
In episode 15, Nobunaga (Shun Oguri) requests reinforcements from Yoshiaki (Ukon Onoe) and Ieyasu (Kohei Matsushita) to counterattack the Asakura and Azai clans. However, their actions are slow, as they secretly wish for Nobunaga's downfall.
Meanwhile, Koichiro (Nakano) and Fujikichiro (Ikematsu Sosuke) try to buy time for Ichi to escape, but Ichi's thoughts are with Nagamasa, and their plan fails. Amidst all this, Nobunaga begins his march into northern Omi. Facing the Asakura and Azai armies across the Anegawa River, the two sides finally face off... and so the story unfolds.
In the midst of the battle, a soldier from the Asakura side who charged towards Fujikichiro and his men was Todo Takatora, who went on a rampage, swinging his spear around in an attempt to prove himself. On social media, viewers reacted with comments such as, "It's Todo Takatora," "Wow...! This is Todo Takatora!!," "A really strong guy has appeared," "I thought a guy from Samurai Warriors had appeared...but it's Todo Takatora!!," "Ahhh!!
