Actress Haru Kuroki attended a press conference in Tokyo on April 14th for the upcoming KTV/Fuji TV Monday 10pm drama "Galaxy Vote" (Mondays at 10pm, starting April 20th), in which she plays the lead role. Kuroki plays an election strategist who works to get Kayoko Noro, a bar owner, elected as Governor of Tokyo. When asked who she would like to see as Governor of Tokyo in real life, she named Noro, saying, "She has strong convictions, so she will face the issue properly. I thought that if Ms. Noro were in charge, the future would be brighter."
Kohei Matsushita, who plays a trusted childhood friend of the protagonist played by Kuroki and a capable member of parliament, was also in attendance. Matsushita also named Noro as someone he would like to see become the governor of Tokyo, explaining that "it's fun to talk to her, and the distance between us is comfortable."
Upon hearing this, Noro smiled and said, "I'm truly happy." Incidentally, when asked who she would like to see become the governor of Tokyo, Noro named Tetsuya Morita of the comedy duo "Saraba Seishun no Hikari."
