The synopsis and still images for the second episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, have been released. The episode will air on April 14th.
Minato (played by Nagasaku) was on the verge of giving up when she compared herself to her classmates who were seriously aiming to become sushi chefs, but Oedo's (played by Matsuyama Kenichi) words renewed her resolve, and she decided to continue attending the "Sushi Academy."
One day, Kurumi (First Summer Uika), fed up with being stuck doing only basic training and not being allowed to make sushi, went to Oedo to plead her case directly. Oedo then declared, "If you can express your own style with a single dish of horse mackerel, I will let you move on to making nigiri sushi using the ingredients."
Kurumi is excited, seeing this as a chance to showcase her strengths. Meanwhile, Minato is troubled, wondering what her "own style" and "strengths" really are.
When Minato finally meets her son Nagisa (played by Motoki Nakazawa), who lives separately from her, she is reminded of her own "origins in cooking" through their casual conversation.
Meanwhile, an incident occurs in Oedo's class...?
The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama, who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the "time to herself" that she finally has again at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months.
