Actress Momoko Fukuchi's NHK nighttime drama "Radio Star" (NHK General, Monday-Thursday 10:45 PM) will enter its second week on April 6th.
"Radio Star" is a nonstop entertainment drama set in Noto, depicting how ordinary citizens become stars. The cast includes Masahiro Kohmoto, Kiyohiko Shibukawa, Shoma Kai, Kaito Oyagi, Shunsuke Kazama Kazama, Tsutomu Tamura, Takako Tokiwa Tokiwa, and Manami Ono from the idol group "Hinatazaka46". The theme song is "Fune Ippai no Sachi wo" (A Boat Full of Happiness), written and composed by Yumi Matsutoya and sung by MISIA.
In the second week, "Radio Star," hosted by Kanade (Fukuchi), gradually begins to lose its appeal to the townspeople.
To liven up the radio show, they decide to hold a cooking competition using ingredients from Noto. The town's chef, Junya Itami (Yoshimasa Kondo), and Sakura Ono's (Tokiwa) husband, Masahiro (Kazama), agree to participate. However, on the day of the broadcast, Masahiro doesn't show up. The next day, Sakura summons Masahiro, and he begins to speak into the microphone about what he had kept hidden until now... Scene cuts have also been released.
