TV Tokyo's popular information variety program, "Shutsugen! Ad Machikku Tengoku" (Saturdays at 9 PM), will feature the area around Hakuraku Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line (Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama City) in its April 4th broadcast.
The area around Hakuraku Station has an arcade shopping street that retains the atmosphere of the Showa era. Shops selling music, books, and vintage clothing give off a subculture vibe. The program introduces a one-man run "oden" shop in the arcade street; a heart-fluttering experience at a restaurant!? The famous "love-struck pork rice"; a sardine restaurant where the owner and customers are close; and a highly-rated British "lemon cake".
Furthermore, the grandchild saved the restaurant from closure!? A retro Western-style restaurant with long lines; a Pakistani curry restaurant that will be relocating at the end of May!? A "coffee seeker" who believes that the cello goes well with coffee; a direct descendant of the Iekei ramen family and the last beloved disciple of the god of tsukemen; and a free strolling map of a general store convenient for sightseeing will also be featured.
The guests were comedian Hanawa and drag queen Mitz Mangrove.
