With only one week left in the 2025 fiscal year, following the programming restructuring briefings held by various commercial broadcasters this month, we've compiled a list of programs ending or concluding before the new fiscal year begins, focusing primarily on those airing during the golden/prime time slot.

Fuji TV had the most programs ending this time. First, the morning program "Sun! Shine" (Monday-Friday, 8:14 AM) will end on March 27th, marking the end of a long-running morning talk show. From the new fiscal year, "Mezamashi TV" and "Nonstop!" will be broadcast with expanded time slots. On Sundays, "Bokura no Jidai" (Sundays, 7 AM) and "Sunday News THE PRIME" (Sundays, 7:30 AM) will end, and the information program "SUNDAY Break" will begin.
Major changes have also been made to prime time programming. "Yobidoshi Sensei Tanaka," which aired Mondays at 8 PM, has ended, and a new game variety show hosted by Sho Sakurai, "Shinken Yugi! THE Battle SHOW," will begin airing on April 20th. "Music Generation" (Thursdays at 7 PM) has also ended its regular broadcast and will be replaced by a new music program called "STAR."
"This World is 1-Double" (Thursdays at 9pm) will also end its regular broadcast on March 26th, and "Nazotore MAXXX," a revamped version of "Konya wa Nazotore" (Tuesdays at 7pm), will take over from April 2nd. Furthermore, "Kamaitachi no Shunkan Kantai!" will begin airing in April as the successor to "The Common Ten!" (Fridays at 9pm), which ended in February. From March 31st, a two-hour live variety show called "Cho Chosa Tuesday" will air in the Tuesday 7pm slot of "Konya wa Nazotore."
TBS has ended "Tami-sama no Otsugei" (Mondays at 9pm) and moved "Crazy Journey" (Mondays at 10pm) back to its "old home" of late night. The successor programs will be "TV x Mrs," a show featuring Mrs. Green Apple, at 9pm on Mondays, and "Professional Ranking," a show featuring Shinobu Sakagami and Kento Nakajima, at 10pm on Mondays.
Also, the long-running program "Akko ni Omakase!" (Sundays at 11:45 AM) will end its approximately 40 and a half year run on March 29th, and "Ueda Shinya no Sunday Q" will begin airing on Sundays at 11:35 AM from April. The morning information variety program "Petit Brunch" (Kanto local, Monday-Thursday at 9:55 AM) will end. "Takizawa Karen & Wada Asuka no Feelin' Kitchen" (Monday-Friday at 9:55 AM), with Takizawa Karen and Wada Asuka taking turns as MCs each week, will start on March 30th.
Nippon Television announced that "Nino-san," which aired on Fridays at 7 PM, ended in February, and that "Friday Mystery Club!!!", a variety show featuring Kazunari Ninomiya and Nobu from "Chidori," will start on April 17th. It also announced that "with MUSIC," which aired on Saturdays at 10 PM, will end, and a new news program will begin airing.
TV Asahi, currently the "triple crown winner" in viewership ratings, will continue broadcasting its prime-time variety shows. Yumiko Udo's health information program, "Yumiko Udo's Health Guide!" (Monday-Friday, 9:55 AM), will begin airing, but "Jun Sanpo" will continue airing at 10:10 AM. A viewer-participation program for children, "Ready! Stars! Tobida School" (Sundays, 8:00 AM), will also begin airing.
TV Tokyo will launch a new economic program, "Unparalleled ~From Japan to the World~" (Wednesdays at 11:06 PM), hosted by Masayasu Wakabayashi of "Audrey," but the popular program "Achikochi Audrey" will continue airing in the same time slot, moving to Tuesdays at 12:30 AM.
