It has been announced that the third season of the TV anime "100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Love You," based on the romantic comedy manga currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), will begin airing in July.
A teaser PV has been released depicting the Rentaro family working together and practicing hard to reach their goal of performing on the idol stage, and the voices of the new heroines of the third season, Iin Chiyo and Nadie, have been revealed. The cast will be announced at a talk event at "AnimeJapan 2026" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto Ward, Tokyo) on March 26th.
"The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Love You" is a romantic comedy manga written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa. It began serialization in "Weekly Young Jump" in December 2019. The story follows Rentaro Aijo, who has experienced 100 heartbreaks in middle school and wishes to get his first girlfriend in high school, but is told by the god of love who appears before him that "there are 100 'destined girlfriends' you will meet during your high school life" and "if you meet your destined person and do not fall in love with them and live happily ever after, you will die"...
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2025.
