Talent Ruriko Kojima will be appearing as a guest on ABC TV's variety show "Marudori ~Koko Dake no Hanashi~" (Kansai local broadcast) airing at 1 AM on March 21st. Kojima, who ranked first in the number of TV appearances for female talents in 2015 (according to Nihon Monitor), will look back on her time at the height of her popularity.
Kojima, also known as "Kojiruri," who made her entertainment debut at the age of 15 and quickly became the "Queen of Variety Shows" and the "Queen of Reactions to Screenshots," appeared in 429 programs in the 11 months from January to November of 2015. Regarding that time, she confessed, "We were getting complaints. 'We've had enough of Kojima' (laughs)." Furthermore, when asked about rivals, she named a certain person, saying, "We were both aware of each other back then."
The show is a late-night talk variety program that delves deep into the guests' little-known stories and films them in their entirety. The hosts are Yuichi Nakamaru, Ayako Iguchi, and Dorian Lollobrigida.
On this episode, Kojima candidly discusses her turbulent days, including why she chose China as her study abroad destination, her life and feelings during the two and a half years she was completely away from the entertainment industry, her current thoughts as a single mother after the death of her husband, and why she changed her hair color.
