The main visual for the "Shin Agito Exhibition," an exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the tokusatsu drama "Kamen Rider Agito," which aired from 2001 to 2002, was unveiled on March 13th. The theme is "Beyond the Origin," and it pays homage to the design of the program poster for "Kamen Rider Agito" that was released 25 years ago.
For this project, Kamen Rider Agito, Kamen Rider G3, and Kamen Rider Gills were newly photographed in the exact same poses as in the original poster. The suit actors were Yuya Nawata as Kamen Rider Agito, Taiki Maruyama as Kamen Rider G3, and Kenya Saito as Kamen Rider Gills. The background features "three hands" and "three shadows," creating a mysterious atmosphere different from that of 25 years ago.
"Kamen Rider Agito" aired from 2001 to 2002 as the second series in the Heisei Kamen Rider series. It was the first series to feature multiple Kamen Riders, a concept that is now standard, and it also spearheaded the "handsome hero boom," with actors like Toshiki Kashu and Jun Kaname gaining popularity for their unmasked appearances before transformation.
The "True Agito Exhibition" is the second in a series of exhibitions commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Kamen Rider Kuuga 25th Anniversary Super Kuuga Exhibition" held in 2025. It will be held in Tokyo from April 24th to May 12th at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, and will then tour to Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya.
It was also announced that the Kamen Rider Store Tokyo (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will be holding a 25th anniversary fair for "Kamen Rider Agito." Limited edition goods featuring a "25th anniversary visual" designed specifically for this occasion will be available for purchase from March 19th.
