The key visual and official promotional video for the second season of the TV anime "The Beginning After the End", based on the reincarnation adventure fantasy by TurtleMe, a popular manga artist on Tapas, one of America's largest web manga platforms, have been released. The video and visual depict the "Elderwood Arc," the most important episode of the second season, and feature Arthur, who has grown stronger since the first season, his companion Jasmine, and the two boys who will form a party, Elijah and Lucas.
The PV depicts battle scenes using a variety of magic, and in the second half, it shows a fierce battle with the strongest beast that no one has ever faced before, known as the "Guardian of Elderwood." It was also announced that the opening theme song, "Sayonara Janai ga Ii ga ii," will be performed by Oita Prefecture-based band "SIX LOUNGE," and the song was unveiled in the PV.
Additional cast members have also been announced, including Ryota Osaka as Blardo, an AA-rank adventurer who joins Arthur and the others in facing off against the "Guardian of Elderwood," and Yumiri Hanamori as Samantha, an A-rank adventurer.
The original series began serialization in 2018 and is a hit, with over 150 million views worldwide. It depicts the "second life" of Gray, the most powerful king in history, who is suddenly reincarnated one morning into a magical world as a powerless baby named Arthur, who struggles but grows up with the love of his family and friends. The first season aired on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "+Ultra" from April to June 2025. The second season will air in the same slot from April. The ending theme, "Futatsu no Michi," will be performed by the digital voice actor idol project "22/7 (Nanabun no Nijūni)."
