Magician Ibuki will be appearing on Kuroyanagi Tetsuko's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on March 11th.
He became the first Japanese to win the Grand Prix at the FISM, the world magic competition held in July last year. At the age of 25, Ibuki reached the pinnacle of the world's magic, and is said to be an unusual magician who also works as a company employee. He is apparently taking time off work to perform this time.
Ever since he was a child, his parents have always respected and supported him, telling him to "do what you want to do." He will reveal his journey to becoming the best in the world, including what inspired him to become a magician, the "occupational hazards" he experiences in his daily life, and the supportive teammates he has. He will also introduce techniques that have been praised around the world, such as one that left Kuroyanagi speechless when he performed magic in the studio.
