A music video (MV) for the opening My Hero Academia song "CATCH!!!" by Kohei Horikoshi has been released on YouTube in preparation for the climax of the "Tokyo Sky Egg Arc" of the second season of the TV anime "Vigilante -My My Hero Academia (Hiroaka)."
The music video uses footage from the anime, and depicts Koichi's vigilante activities and growth to date, including new scenes from episode 24, which aired on March 16th.
"Vigilante" is a manga written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Arahito Bete, which was serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" from 2017 to 2022. It is an official spin-off of "My Hero Academia" and is gaining popularity overseas.
Set in Japan several years before the events of the main story of "My Hero Academia," the series depicts the drama of illegal heroes known as vigilantes who, while not being "chosen," cannot help but save those in front of them, while the "chosen" heroes protect people from villains who abuse their "quirks." The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2025. The second season is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
