Anna Nakagawa, a former NHK and freelance announcer, appeared on the talk variety show "Nikenme Dosuru? ~Tsumami no Hanashi~" (TV Tokyo, Saturday midnight 12:55), which aired on March 7th. She talked about her "policy" for gravure modeling.
Nakagawa left NHK in March of last year. When asked by Daikichi Hakata, who co-starred with him on the NHK show "Asaichi," "There are a lot of good things about being a freelancer, right?", Nakagawa replied, "I've become able to speak quite freely. I've become able to express myself." He also revealed, "And the costumes. At NHK, we don't wear anything that could be misleading. We don't wear clothes that make people feel uncomfortable."
She also mentioned that she tried her hand at gravure modeling last year, and when Daikichi asked her, "You weren't in a swimsuit, were you?" she replied, "I tried gravure modeling, but I have one policy. No cleavage allowed" (laughing).
Nakagawa took out her smartphone and showed her gravure photo to MCs Daikichi and Matsuoka Masahiro. When Matsuoka exclaimed in surprise, "Your armpits are completely exposed!", Nakagawa replied, "I don't mind (showing) my armpits at all." When Matsuoka retorted, "Isn't this more embarrassing than 'cleavage'?", Nakagawa replied with a laugh, "I have some kind of obsession. I'm a former NHK member after all."
