On March Getsuku , Fuji Television held a press conference at its headquarters (Minato Ward, Tokyo) to announce its content lineup for the fiscal year ending April 2026. With "Heat MAX" as the slogan for this season, the company will take on the challenge of creating content that generates excitement, is deeply loved, and is talked about strongly.
Variety shows will start at 8pm on Mondays, with a new program to be announced in the future, as well as "Super Investigation Tuesday - We'll Give You the Answers You Want Tonight" (Tuesdays at 7pm), hosted by Kazulaser and the comedy duo New York; the music program "STAR" (Thursdays at 7pm), hosted by announcer Kotaro Kamigaki; "Kamaitachi's Instant Answers! - Solve Your Problems in 60 Seconds" (Fridays at 9pm), hosted by the comedy duo Kamaitachi; and "Timeless Man" (Fridays at 10pm), a program fronted by the popular group timelesz.
On Sundays, a new news information program hosted by Tanihara Shosuke, "SUNDAY BREAK." (Sundays from 7:00 AM to 8:55 AM *first episode starts at 7:30 AM) will start on March 29th.
The dramas that will start in the coming weeks include the Getsuku drama "Canned Mackerel Goes to Space" (Mondays at 9pm) starring Takumi Kitamura , "Galaxy's Vote" (Mondays at 10pm) starring Kuroki Haru and AI Hashimoto Kayo, "Different Surnames Detective" (Tuesdays at 9pm) starring Sato Jiro and Hashimoto Ai, "LOVED ONE" (Wednesdays at 10pm) starring Dean Fujioka, "Tonight in the Secret Kitchen" (Thursdays at 10pm) starring Kinami Haruka and Kanata Hongo, and "Time Light Agent" (Saturdays at 11:40pm) starring Hongo Kanata.
The rescheduling rate was 24.2% for all day, 37.1% for golden time (7pm-10pm), and 40.6% for prime time (7pm-11pm).
Hirofumi Akaike, Director of Programming Management at the Content Investment Strategy Bureau, commented, "This is the largest reorganization in the past 10 years. It is one of the biggest overhauls in our history, and we believe it represents a major challenge and a sign of our resolve."
