The seventh episode of TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sunday 9:00 PM), starring Ryohei Suzuki, was broadcast on March 8th, and featured "danger zone journalist" Maruyama Gonzales. The shocking development caused a wave of surprise from viewers.

Having mastered the role of Gido (Suzuki), Hayase investigates a murder case. The victim is Igari Shusuke (Maruyama), a drug dealer who was also an important client of Goroku (Kitamura Yukiya). Igari made a killing selling drugs to runaway boys and girls, but was killed by Togashi Masaki (Imase), who was being protected by "Selter." Upon learning that Igari's girlfriend, Rikka (Akari Akase), had been forced to take drugs, Togashi impulsively stabbed Igari repeatedly.
Maruyama's appearance was less than 10 seconds long, with no lines, and included a photo of his face on his driver's license and a flashback to his murder. Social media was excited about his drama debut, with some saying, "Mr. Gonzalez was there for just a moment," while others likened it to "Crazy Journey," a show in which Maruyama often appears, with some saying, "Crazy Journey was ending, but Mr. Gonzalez had just begun."
