Idol group AKB48 attended the press conference announcing their appointment as Nippon Yell brand ambassadors, held in Tokyo on March Getsuku. JA Zennoh Representative Director and Managing Director, Yoshiki Saito, announced their appointment as Nippon Yell brand ambassadors.
"Nippon Ale" is an original brand of JA Zennoh that uses agricultural and livestock products from all 47 prefectures in Japan. They sell gummies made with local fruit juice, as well as collaborative products with various companies that support the brand's purpose.
AKB48 appeared in cute, colorful jumpsuits. The fourth generation general manager, Kuranoo Narumi, announced, "As Nippon Ale brand ambassadors, we will support the production areas of domestic agricultural and livestock products. Once a month, we will visit the production areas of Nippon Ale and help out the farmers."
The footage of AKB48 helping out on the farms will be streamed on JA Zennoh's YouTube channel, "Yurufuwa Channel." Kisei Sato said with a smile, "We'll be visiting all over the country to help with farm work in the Nippon Yell color jumpsuits we're wearing today!" Momoka Ito said, "We'll also be streaming behind-the-scenes footage and introducing new products on TikTok and Instagram, which we've been streaming on until now!"
Kuranoo said enthusiastically, "All of our members will work together to bring out the individuality of each of Japan's 47 prefectures and maximize their appeal. We want to do our best to make it a success, with the attitude that AKB48 will do anything to ensure we don't get in the way of meeting the farmers."
