It was announced on March 6th that the regular prime-time broadcasts of TBS variety shows "Tami-sama no Otsugei" (Mondays at 9 PM) and "Crazy Journey" (Mondays at 10 PM) will end. This was revealed at a press conference held at the station in Akasaka, Tokyo, on the same day to announce the April programming changes.
"Tami-sama's Oracle" is a program hosted by Hiromi and Koji Higashino that investigates the true feelings of Tami-sama (=the people) in society and presents their unfiltered, real opinions as "Tami-sama's Oracle" to help them in their own future.
"Crazy Journey" gained popularity as a travel variety show featuring "crazy journeyers" who travel the world and Japan with their own unique perspectives and passions, sharing their extraordinary experiences.
As the successor program, the Monday 9 PM slot will see the start of a regular program, "TV x Mrs.," a show hosted by the popular band "Mrs. Green Apple." It has previously aired twice as a one-off on the same Monday, and has been well-received by audiences of all ages. The show will feature collaborations with famous artists performing their hit songs, as well as hilarious skits with comedians and collaborations with variety show segments that involve physically demanding challenges on elaborate sets.
The Monday 10 PM time slot will see the start of regular broadcasts of "Professional Ranking," a show hosted by Shinobu Sakagami and Kento Nakajima. Beginning with a special program in October 2020 titled "Tell Me the Real Truth Ranking," the show ran for nine episodes and, due to popular demand, was made into a regular series. Each episode will feature surveys and interviews with over 100 professionals who have mastered their respective fields, and the show will announce the "real ranking" determined by genuine voting.
