It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime "Wisteria of the Staff and Sword," based on the manga by Fujino Omori, known for the popular light novel "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (DanMachi)," will be broadcast on 28 TBS affiliates nationwide every Sunday at 4:30 pm starting April 12th. Just like the first season, it will be broadcast nationwide on Sunday evenings.
It was also announced that the band "ASH DA HERO" will be performing the opening theme "BELIEVERS" and Shiyui will be performing the ending theme "Reach Light," and the main PV featuring the two songs has been released. The main visual, depicting the protagonist Will facing off against a horde of monsters with his sword, has also been released. Voice actors such as Will's voice actor Kohei Amasaki have provided comments ahead of the broadcast.
"Wisteria of the Staff and Sword" is written by Omori and illustrated by Aoi Hijiri, and has been serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) since December 2020. Set in a world where magic is supreme, the story follows Will, a boy who cannot use magic at all, who enrolls in a magic academy and fights through the cold stares of those around him. The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2024.

I'm Akira Sekine, who will be voicing Elfaria, continuing from Season 1! Their long-awaited journey begins again! Will Elfaria be able to reunite with Will? I will do my best to act, hoping that the two of them will always be together with smiles on their faces! Thank you all for your support!
◇Comment from Amano Satomi (voice of Colette)
I'm Amano Satomi, who plays Colette Loire! Season 1 ended with a big battle and a thrilling new challenge. Since then, I've been looking forward to Season 2! I love the fast-paced battle scenes that are unique to Wistria, so I'm really looking forward to seeing Will and the others in action again. I wonder if we'll continue to see lots of Colette's adorable gestures and expressions...?!
◇Comment from Masaaki Mizunaka (role of Shion)
I'm personally very much looking forward to Season 2 of "Wistria of the Staff and Sword," and when dubbing resumed, the high energy on set made my heart pound, thinking, "This is Wistria!!" In Season 1, Will and Shion sometimes clashed, but please look forward to seeing how they grow this time! Of course, the combat action, which is one of the series' trademarks, is also going to be incredible, so please look forward to that as well! I'm looking forward to the broadcast too!!

◇Comment from Lynn (Rihanna)
The story continues from Season 1, so it's a whirlwind of events right from the start, like a climax. There will also be new characters with strong personalities, so please look forward to it. Rihanna is as charming as ever with the contrast between her coolness and cuteness, so we'll do our best to deliver it to you!
◇Comment from Kengo Kawanishi(role of Ignor)
Congratulations on Season 2 of "Wistria of the Staff and Sword"! After going through a brutal battle, each character has grown and the stage is moving on to a new stage. With even more intense and moving scenes than in Season 1, you won't be able to take your eyes off their story. We'll do our best with the dubbing, so we hope you'll enjoy it.
