"I would like to announce that I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued warm support. This is a personal matter, but I have recently married a non-celebrity person I have been dating," she wrote. Along with the handwritten letter, she continued, "I have graduated from the group and am now working at my own pace, but I wanted to properly let everyone who continues to support me know, so I decided to make this announcement."
Watanabe expressed her gratitude to her fans and coworkers, writing, "Although I have reached the milestone of getting married, I will continue to approach each and every job with sincerity."
Watanabe is 30 years old and was born on May 16, 1995. She was a member of the first generation of Keyakizaka46 and Sakurazaka46, graduating in December 2021. She also worked as a model for the women's fashion magazines LARME and Ray. Recently, she has been attracting attention by posting pictures of her climbing various mountains on social media.
