Ten Yamasaki of the idol group Sakurazaka46 appeared at the completion announcement event for the omnibus film GEMNIBUS vol.2 held in Tokyo on March 4th.
Yamazaki will be making his film debut in "Sonic Beat," directed and written by up-and-coming director Seki Shunta. "I was nervous and anxious on the first day of filming, but the director gave me guidance on the role and my personality, so I was able to approach filming with ease," he recalled.
She continued, "When I was watching a movie privately at the cinema, 'Sonic Beat' was playing in the trailer. I felt a joy I'd never felt before and my body temperature rose, and I also felt embarrassed, but I'm happy that the work we created together can be shared. I would like to continue to challenge myself with acting," she said with a smile.
Also appearing at the completion announcement meeting were Mori Nana, Kurokawa Soya, Kuroshima Yuina, Mizuki Yoshida, Kashii Yu, Nishino Nanase, Kanata Hongo, and Nishigaki Takumi.
Toho's talent support project "GEMSTONE Creative Label" has launched an omnibus project called "GEMNIBUS," which weaves together short films by several up-and-coming directors into a single film. This second installment will be released for a limited time only at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) for one week from March 6th to March 12th.
