On March 4th, model and actor Airu Kubozuka attended an event held in Tokyo to commemorate the release of Hugo Boss Japan's "BOSS SELECTED BY SHOHEI OHTANI."
Kubozuka appeared in a suit from the same collection, carefully selected by Shohei Ohtani of the MLB Los Angeles Dodgers. The outfit, which cost a total of about 280,000 yen, included a 113,300 yen jacket, 52,800 yen knitwear and pants, 44,000 yen shoes, and a 19,800 yen belt. "It's so light, I feel like I could play baseball in it. I honestly want to incorporate it into my fashion and daily life," he said with a smile.
With the opening of the WBC (World Baseball Classic), in which Ohtani will also be participating, approaching, he confessed, "It's very difficult to say, but I wasn't able to properly watch the play (at the previous tournament)." He then offered his support, saying, "(This year) I want to support Japan."
Actor Junki Tozuka also appeared at the event.
