Actor Airi Taira will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 pm on February 27th. This will be her first appearance on the show, and there are reportedly some tearful moments.
Originally from Hyogo Prefecture, she grew up as the eldest of six siblings. She moved to Tokyo at the age of 14 and felt lonely when she made her debut in the entertainment industry, but her mother supported her. She talks about her family, with whom she remains close.
She married soccer player Yuto Nagatomo in 2017 and is raising four boys, aged 8, 6, 4, and 2. After getting married, she moved overseas with her husband and gave birth there, and she reflects on that experience and the difficulties of life. She now lives in Japan and goes to watch her husband's games with her children. She also talks about the difficulties of raising children and the joy of watching them grow, such as recently making individual breakfasts for each of her four children in response to their requests.
