It has been revealed that Ito Shizuka will play Kaneko Hanaeko, a shrewd and noble young lady, in the final chapter of the TV anime "Golden Kamuy," based on the manga by Noda Satoru.

Hanaeko seemed like a strong-willed young lady, but she also had some strong quirks in some areas, so I played her freely and enjoyably, just as I saw and felt her, while still keeping the core of her personality. "Golden Kamuy" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha) from 2014 to 2022. It depicts the story of "Immortal Sugimoto," a former hero of the Russo-Japanese War, who discovers clues to buried treasure hidden by a death row inmate in Hokkaido and embarks on an adventure with Ainu girls. The series has sold over 30 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2018, the second from October to December of the same year, and the third from October to December 2020. The fourth season began airing in October 2022, was on hiatus from November, but resumed in April 2023 and aired until June of the same year. The final season is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other channels.
