TV Tokyo's popular information variety show "Appears! Ad Street Heaven" (Saturdays at 9 PM) will feature Zojoji Temple, a famous temple in Shiba, Minato Ward, Tokyo, and surrounding spots on its February 14th broadcast.
Zojoji Temple is the family temple of the Tokugawa Shogunate. It is now also a great spot to view Tokyo Tower. The program will feature special footage of the "treasures" in Zojoji Temple's storehouse, which is usually closed to the public. In addition, the program will introduce the original drawings by Ino Tadataka, which are kept in the library behind Zojoji Temple, the "Neribei" wall, a symbol of the Edo cityscape, and the mysterious softball! The program will also introduce the historical heritage of Tokyo Tower.
Also featured will be a famous lamb and steak restaurant right in front of Tokyo Tower, a Thai restaurant with long lines, Mooparoo, a bistro and sushi restaurant run by a Shibakko family, and a tofu restaurant directly below Tokyo Tower that will close at the end of March.
The guests are author Hiroshi Aramata and Arakawa from the comedy duo "Elf."
