The fourth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Suzuki Ryohei, will be broadcast on February 15th.
In the previous episode, Hayase Riku (played by Suzuki) pretended to be Gido, but Gido's wife, Mayu (played by Kuroki Meisa), insisted that she had no intention of breaking up. When Hayase told her, "You're not my wife," Mayu retorted, "I know. You're not my husband."
Mayu, who had felt something was off about Hayase from the beginning, pointed out, "You're Hayase Riku, aren't you?" Furthermore, she revealed that she had received a phone call from Gido, and confidently stated, "That wasn't you, it was the real Gido."
In episode 4, Hayase is told by Mayu that she has received a call from Gido. Forced into a situation where she has no choice but to impersonate Gido (played by Suzuki), she desperately continues to pretend to be Gido.
Hayase heads to the mountains where Gido was once buried. What unbelievable sight does he see there?
Meanwhile, a case occurs in which goods worth 10 billion yen that Goroku (Kitamura Yukiya) has been secretly storing are stolen. Hayase is suspected as the culprit. Moreover, conclusive video evidence is left behind.
In a desperate situation, Hayase begs for his life, but Goroku's grip does not ease. Cornered, Hayase finally decides to reveal his true identity, but Goroku has no way of believing him...
In order to survive, Hayase makes a certain ``proposal.''
The script is written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who has worked on many hit Sunday Theatre dramas such as "Grand Maison Tokyo." The suspense story follows Hayase Riku, who is framed for the murder of his wife, as he abandons his family and past, reboots himself as corrupt detective Gido, and pursues the real culprit.
