It has been revealed that Hiyori Yoshikawa of the idol group "Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu" will be appearing in the fourth episode (aired February 15th) of the TBS Sunday Theatre "Reboot" (Sunday 9pm), starring Ryohei Suzuki. This will be Yoshikawa's first appearance in a TBS drama, and she will play Aki, an office staff member with an illegal part-time job.
"Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu" is popular mainly on social media, and last year their song "Cho Saikyo" became a huge hit, surpassing 2.5 billion views on TikTok. Yoshikawa has also appeared on many variety shows and is a radio show MC.
In this film, Aki is in charge of the practical work and information gathering involved in opening corporate accounts, and acts under the instructions of Kogo Ichika (Toda Erika).
Yoshikawa commented, "When I heard about appearing in 'Reboot' and received the script, I was excited to see how the meaning of 'reboot' - 'restart' - would connect to the content of the drama, but I was captivated by the unexpected turn of events in which Hayase reboots to protect his family. I don't have much experience acting in dramas, so I was really nervous about filming as it was a Sunday Theatre production and I was co-starring with Toda Erika, who plays Ichika. However, Aki is someone Ichika trusts, so I hope that everyone can understand my relationship with her!"
