"The Young Lady Wants to Become a Night Butterfly," starring former Hinatazaka46 model and actor, Shiho Kato, has begun streaming on "FOD SHORT," a vertical short drama app operated by Fuji Television.
The story follows the coming-of-age tale of Yuriko (Kato), the daughter of a wealthy family who, for some important reason, hides her identity and plunges into the "nightlife" where she overcomes brutal bullying and carnage as she takes on the challenge of working as a hostess at a cabaret club. Each episode is about one minute long, and there are 70 episodes in total.
Kato commented, "I was offered this role while I was still in the group, and it was my first time taking on this role. I also tried on costumes from a genre I had never worn before, and filming in unusual locations made every day very stimulating. I hope you will watch Yuriko's story of growth."
Arisawa Shotaro plays Sho, the heir to a wealthy family who supports Yuriko in her endeavors, and Kishi Asuka plays Kaguya, the number one hostess at the cabaret club. Also appearing in the film are Izutsu Yuta, Tsubakihara Ai, Yokono Sumire, Amano Kisumi, Mizuhara Yuki, and Aoki Ryo from "SHOW-WA."
