Cooking enthusiast Remi Hirano will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi) at 1:00 pm on February 5th, along with her eldest son, Sho Wada, the vocalist of the rock band TRICERATOPS.
Kuroyanagi, who was an old friend of Remi's husband, illustrator Makoto Wada, has known Sho since he was born. She is filled with joy at seeing him grow up. When the program first began in 1976, Remi appeared on the show with his father, poet and French literature scholar Imao Hirano, and now, 50 years later, she will be appearing with her son for the first time.
This is Sho's first appearance on the show. He is now a professional musician, composing music for musicals, and is active in his field, but he revealed that he was a shy boy in his childhood and faced many conflicts due to his parents being famous. He also talks about his love for the guitar that changed him, and he will perform a singing show with his mother, who is also a chanson singer.
