The fifth episode of the drama series "Drama Choose! 'Rakudatsukkon'" (TV Tokyo, Tuesday midnight 12:30), starring actress Rio Uchida, will be broadcast on February 3rd.
Chiharu (Uchida) finds her motivation in life by investigating Emiru's (Nakamura Yurika) true identity. Meanwhile, she is frustrated by the pressure from Emiru and her mother Aiko (Machida Shion) to have children, and begins to be attracted to the kindness of the office worker Umeda (Kawashima Suzuharu) Tsukasa (Ito Kentaro). Pushed away by Tsukasa, Emiru sends a large amount of Super Chat to Kaito (Issei) and arranges to meet the two of them.
Meanwhile, with the help of Nao (Matsumoto Daiki), Chiharu gets closer to Kaito, who tells her a fact she never expected.
The drama is based on Mei Yamada's manga "Rakutotsukkon ~The Talented Woman is Chosen~," which became a hot topic for its depiction of an "ugly pregnancy battle between an ex-wife and a current wife." Chiharu marries Tsukasa, a psychiatrist, after many years of dating, but is unable to have children, and is feeling depressed. Then, a young woman named Emiru, who is pregnant with Tsukasa's child, appears before Chiharu... and so the story unfolds.
