It has been announced that three stars, Terao Akira, Takada Junji, and Ishihara Yoshizumi, will be appearing on the 50th anniversary special of the long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room," which will be broadcast on February 1st (TV Asahi network, excluding some areas).
Terao and Takada, both born in 1947 and the same age, became close friends after filming a golf program overseas. Terao and Ishihara were senior and junior at Ishihara Promotions, while Takada and Ishihara have appeared together on various programs. Kuroyanagi was delighted to see the three "handsome older men" appear, exclaiming, "Amazing!"
The program will feature treasured footage of the three when they were younger. Kuroyanagi teases Takada, saying, "You lie so often, I don't know which ones are true (laughs)." Ishihara blushes when footage from his debut film, "Kyodan" (1982), is shown. He also reveals the nervous episode he felt when he first met Terao at his uncle, Yujiro Ishihara's, home.
When the video of his first appearance on "Tetsuko's Room" was shown, all three of them were excited and exclaimed, "Wow!" They also explained the reason why they were surprised to see Terao's hands covered in bandages when he first appeared.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the program, "Celebrating Tetsuko's Room's 50th Anniversary: A Super Luxury! Celebration Special with the Whole Entertainment Industry," will be broadcast from 5:00 pm to 8:56 pm on February 1st. Also appearing will be Snow Man's Meguro Ren, Akashiya Sanma, Shofutei Tsurube, Asada sisters Mai and Mao, Miyazawa Rie, Hirano Remi, Shimizu Michiko, Moriyama Ryoko, Koizumi Kotaro, Takashima Chisako, and Fujimori Shingo.
