Model and actress Hiroe Igeta appeared on the variety show "The World's Most Shocking News" (Nippon TV) which aired on January 27th.
The day's program was titled "A Major Entrance Exam Incident Special," and delved into the dark side of the entrance exam war, where a battle for university recommendations at a prestigious girls' high school in Korea escalated into a major incident.
During the studio talk, Igeta, who graduated from Waseda University, revealed, "I took the high school entrance exam... but my grades in middle school were really good (laughs). I got all A's in middle school." He continued, looking back on that time, "I enjoyed studying so much that I thought, 'I'm the best!'"
On the other hand, she also shared a story of failure, saying, "I got too cocky when I became an adult and lost my driver's license..." She said, "That was a huge shock. Also, when I was a university student, I thought I could become a weather forecaster, so I took the exam about three times, but I failed completely. I gave up."
